Only unbox value class results when the caller expects their unboxed
representation (non-primitive underlying type, non-nullable underlying
type for nullable return types, and no overridden function with a
different return type), and add related tests.
Cache the unbox method resolution per method and make it accessible
to support non-public value classes.
Closes gh-37191
Unbox Kotlin value class results returned from proxied suspending
methods before returning them to the caller.
Spring AOP interceptor chains expose return values as Object, which
causes Kotlin value class results to be boxed. For suspending functions,
the direct return path expects the unboxed value class representation.
Update both CglibAopProxy and JdkDynamicAopProxy to detect value class
return types and unbox boxed results after coroutine adaptation.
Add tests for suspending methods returning value classes.

Since Mockito 5.16.1, MockAccess moved from
org.mockito.internal.creation.bytebuddy.MockAccess to
org.mockito.internal.creation.bytebuddy.access.MockAccess.
Consequently, ProxyProcessorSupport.isInternalLanguageInterface() no
longer recognized it, causing an auto-proxied mock created with the
subclass mock maker and proxyTargetClass=false to receive a JDK proxy
that only implements MockAccess instead of a CGLIB proxy of its own
class.
This commit adds a check for the new package name alongside the
existing one, since older Mockito versions may still be on the
classpath.
Closes gh-37342
When CglibAopProxy validates the target class, it logs a WARN-level
message for each public final method that implements an interface,
suggesting to use interface-based JDK proxies instead. For final
methods inherited from Spring's configuration callback interfaces
(InitializingBean, DisposableBean, Aware sub-interfaces, Closeable,
AutoCloseable) that recommendation is misleading: those methods are
container-driven, are not advised by typical application pointcuts, and
the user usually cannot make them non-final.
The validation now only emits the WARN-level message when at least one
user-defined interface declares the method. Methods inherited
exclusively from configuration callback interfaces fall back to the
existing DEBUG diagnostic.
In addition, the isConfigurationCallbackInterface() method has been
extracted from ProxyProcessorSupport into a static package-private
method in AopProxyUtils with the same signature, and
ProxyProcessorSupport and CglibAopProxy now delegate to the new shared
static utility in AopProxyUtils.

Although this commit also changes the visibility of some test methods
to package-private, the remainder of that task will be addressed in
conjunction with gh-36496.

Since the Spring Framework uses American English spelling, this commit
updates Javadoc and the reference manual to ensure consistency in that
regard. However, there are two exceptions to this rule that arise due
to their use within a technical context.
- We use "cancelled/cancelling" instead of "canceled/canceling" in
numerous places (including error messages).
- We use "implementor" instead of "implementer".

This includes MethodParameter resolving getParameterName() by default now.
initParameterNameDiscovery(null) can be used to suppress such resolution.

This commit revises the type-level nullability declaration in
ConvertingComparator in order to adapt to recent nullability changes in

This commit adds a reproducer for the change of behavior introduced via
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-76667. The test is only broken
with Kotlin 2.2.20+ without the related fix (see previous commit).

Taken into account by all proxy processors, this enables consistent proxy type defaulting in Spring Boot as well as consistent opting out for specific bean definitions.

Prior to this commit, subclasses of AbstractBeanFactoryBasedTargetSource
referenced the targetBeanName via getTargetBeanName() which throws an
IllegalStateException if the targetBeanName has not yet been set.
This commit changes the visibility of the targetBeanName field from
private to protected in order to facilitate direct access through
this.targetBeanName where no assertion is needed.
By doing so, we avoid exceptions in logging and toString()
implementations in subclasses.
